It is no wonder that most people nowadays have refinanced their home loan mortgages. Call it strategic but they do this for several reasons but is it possible somehow to get lower rates? Yes, indeed as you are now capable of reducing the interest you are paying on such loan. Maybe because you have a good credit score and you can qualify for a lower interest rate or the interest rates for your loan may have dropped.

Spending some time looking into this matter could save you a significant amount of money especially if a loan is over a long period of time. Talk to your mortgage or loan company to see if this is possible or consider refinancing your higher interest loan with one that has a lower rate, this will help reduce the monthly payments and possibly leave you enough money at the end of the month to pay off a lump sum or to end the loan earlier than you may have thought possible.

Always read the terms and conditions of any loan and make sure you will not be left with an early settlement fee should you save enough money to pay the loan off earlier than expected. Always do your research whether it is over the internet, by phone or by speaking face to face with a reliable financial adviser.

Have the term and conditions compared and always think twice before deciding to take out a new loan or refinance an existing loan.

As always, the credit score plays a significant role when you are to look for that lower interest rate so keep all your payments existing and previous loans up to date. But if somehow, your loan company won't offer you a lower rate, ask them why and what you can do to be considered on getting a good low rate.

You can also think about taking a zero percent interest free credit card and have the loan moved on to the credit card if your existing loan has a high interest rate. But do take note when the zero percent free rate will end as this can affect your rate of interest in the future.

Also ensure that the handling fee charged by the credit card company does not outweigh the savings made by moving the loan across.

If you are taking out loans mortgages although the interest rates on a variable rate mortgage may seem appealing, always remember this rate can go up or down. Although a fixed rate offers you the security for a certain length of time knowing that you will not be affected by a sudden increase in interest rates of loans mortgages, you may find that the rate drops and you are paying more than you are happy with. - 15432

Eleanor Rigby by The Beatles

Who was the person the Beatles sang about who died in the church and was buried, and nobody came?

A very sad song, and at the time it was rather out of keeping with the type of songs that we had come to expect from the fab four.

So, who was Eleanor Rigby, and was she a real person or was she just a figment of the imagination, something like lovely Rita, meter maid?

Well, I was playing some gigs recently in Liverpool, and although my evenings were busy, the rest of the day was free and so I decided to use my spare time to do some research into this and to try and find out if there really was an Eleanor Rigby.

To get started I went along to the local library and after digging out a few pieces of information I pointed the car towards a suburb of Liverpool known as Woolton.

In the Anglican church there you will find a typical English churchyard, surrounding the church, and you will find many tombstones, but one headstone in particular caught my attention.

Wait for it. The headstone is dedicated to an Eleanor Rigby.

Having located such an interesting gravestone I then began to ask myself if any of the Beatles lived anywhere nearby. And guess what? As a child John Lennon used to live in Menlove Avenue, which is very close to the church.

Now, as a child I remember playing all sorts of games in our local churchyard. Games such as hide and seek, hiding behind the tombstones and so on. Great fun, albeit a little spooky!

With this in mind it is not stretching things too far to assume that as a child John Lennon possibly also played in his local churchyard, and would have noticed the tombstone dedicated to Eleanor.

Time however became my enemy here because I had to move on from Liverpool before being able to search any deeper into this.

I want to spend some time going through the church records, and I would like to see what I can find out about the other people mentioned on Eleanor,s headstone.
